The sky bottomed out

It was a beautiful day. Sunshine, a few clouds in the sky, a double rainbow! Pulling into the parking lot I thought, isn't this lovely? I open my car door. All the clouds from everywhere in the world rush overhead and they bottom out. HAIL.

I ran, with my purse over my head (which made no difference at all by the way), as the breakroom door opened and a co-worker yelled "HURRY, YOU'LL DROWWWN". Finally, safe inside from the ridiculous rain, those who witnessed the whole event applauded and cheered. I'm drenched. It's going to be a good day.
